Yes, I remember Sue Barton. I checked Amazon. The author is by Helen Dore Boylston According to Amazon there are 7 books in the set--a lot more in the Chery Ames, but I'm not sure all of the Cherry Ames are written by the same author as the early ones. I liked both, as I recall. Someone requested both nurses' books be added to the collection, though apparently I did write down who. I only got my hands on a Braille copy of Sue Barton: Student Nurse but have forgotten the author's name? Was Sue Barton a character in a series? I remember the title of another book I liked called A Cap for Mary Ellis but again have forgotten the author's name. I can see it now! Series of books about the training of nurses being added to the collection. I can understand this because my mother worked at Birmingham High School during World War II when she was in the Navy and it was a hospital. She got a medical dictionary and if I asked her, she would read entries from it about diseases (I remember her reading about leprosy and tuberculosis). Yeah, I admit it. I dabbled in reading about nurses when I was a pre-teen and into my teenage years. Sorry, guys, I know this is off topic, but I was curious and thought you might know. Thanks for your forbearance.
