Katie,

Inserting a scan does not delete a bookmark. Of course, that is if you're
working with a supported file types, as Jake points out.

Hi Katie,
    You have not cut a page to do that and so it's highly unlikely. You'll 
need to try it to be 100% sure though. And, of course you'll need to be 
working in one of the supported file types.
