Dear Carrie, Gerald, Katie, and Everyone, Carrie, what a great catch! When you buy books like that do you have a laptop to check if they are in the collection? When I find a very cheap source of print books, I just search for books that, from my general knowledge, I guess might not be done yet. When I bring them home, I look them up and donate whatever is already approved. Then if I find a volunteer to scan any of what's left, I check again to make sure the book hasn't been added before mailing it off. Oh, and I don't just grab anything obscure. I do what I can to judge if it will be potentially a good read. It's just another form of treasure hunting and book play I'll enjoy as long as possible. Grizzard was a great and funny son of Mississippi! Katie, you are right. It's just that I do my homework and vote, but am not a leader or organizer. I appreciate the conviction of all of you who help Bookshare evolve for the better. With my personality, the best I can do is validate renew my membership, spread the word to attract new subscribers and read. I'm not a cook, just a kitchen wench! ahahahahahah...been reading too much historical fiction! I'd have spent the whole day with the roses. How beautiful!
