Hi, all. I've just joined this list, with mixed feelings. On the one hand, it will be good to form some friendships through it. On the other, I somewhat resent the pressure to join the list in order to volunteer, and I don't look forward to receiving masses of e-mail, most of which won't be relevant to me. One friend on the list described the experiencing as similar to drinking from a fire hose. We'll see how it goes.
I've been quietly validating for while and have submitted a few books. I almost exclusively read, and valaidate, non-fiction. I'm starting to look at some of the potentially interesting books at the bottom of the step 1 table, those that have been in the queue longer.
Trying now to remove headers as per the volunteer manual, I've run into a problem with a book which I'll detail in a subsequent message.
