I know Carrie does a lot for the list and I have validated a couple of her

I agree with what you are saying Jake. IF we could get the list down to 200
to 250 it would make browsing and selecting books to validate easier. Now
the newest books or the books that are put back on step one are at the top.
The first 100 get browsed and selected while those at the bottom of the list
linger.
But the nice thing is we keep growing the collection and the admin queue is
well under 100 these daysJ
I read/validated a book called the Little Ice Age a while back and this
morning on the bus had a wonderful discussion with a former storm chaser and
meteorologist.

AHH! Yikes, we want to shrink it though. *grin*
It might be best to hold off on the bulk scanning until we can get this list
down to a better, more manageable number like 250, rather than the 430 it is
now.
That would have the added benefit of us working on older books that have
been around for a while, and, if that is done, then the turn around time for
books overall should improve.
Thoughts? Other ideas?
