Some of those look yummy, since I'm heavily "into" liking to read the historical novels of England in the 16th and 17th centuries--as long as they have to do with the upper classes and the court. Amber, I was reminded today of another of Small's books that stands alone and that I heartily recommend--Beloved. I did some research after reading it, and the protagonist, Zenobia, did exist and all the incidents in the book are true. There's a chapter on Zenobia (Beloved) in 100 Women Who shaped the World, which is in the collection--for children as well as adults. There is a lot of violence in that one, as befits the place and time. Cindy __________________________________________ Yahoo! DSL ? Something to write home about.
