Some books I am downloading lately--ones I've downloaded in audio format--are not divided cleanly at new chapters, but on seemingly random pages. At what point, by what criteria, does Bookshare choose to close one recorded file and moves to the next? Is there a number of characters, length of "reading" time in the Bookshare-produced MP3? Because I am finding navigation miserable in many books due to: #1 The limitations of the Next Generation Stream (and why limitationsese exist in a product they had a zillion years to redesign I'll never know), I can't even count on"Where Am I?" to help me locate myself navigate around. #2 The PQ books that often have no page numbers #3 The *seemingly* random cut-offs in bookshare audio format that is not chapter-driven. I think If I understood how bookshare decides to close one file and start the next I might be able to devise a better system for myself. Thanks al,l Charisma (A highly appreciative member of bookshare for around 8 years, maybe more, I hate change but am learning to get oer myself! lol) To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
