That and its a mindless thing. I can listen to talk radio or news,
concentrate on that, and scan all at once, especially if we're using
repeatetive scanning. Paperbacks aren't my favorite things to scan mostly
because of the crap that seems to creep in in the margin, but I can deal
with that :).

Smile, I like the scanning too, and is how I do it, even with a full load as a student teacher.
It is a good stress reliever, for me anyway..
