I am validating a book where words or sentences are run together. The person using a screen reader to review a book rather than using a braille display or looking at the screen may not catch these run together words or sentences unless a spell checker is used. I know somebody validated this book and let lots of sentences such as the following go right through.
This first sentence is fine.But it runs into this next one.Without a braille display I would not know the period in the above sentence was not followed by a space.
Spell checking of this sort is particularly important if validating a book children may use when learning braille.
