I would personally like to be able to choose how much time I want in order to validate a book instead of having to keep going back and extending the time. Having put considerable time into making corrections only to have lost books to my forgetfulness about continuously renewing them, , I think I would like the option to choose a three week validation term , knowing I will return the book much better than I got it. I am incapable of getting a book in my hands and validating it without reading it and doing the clean-up. How about a combo box where someone can select one to four weeks when they first download the book. I think most of us probably know the kind of time we put into books. I think I would validate more books if I could consistently request a three week period and then not have to worry about doing the renewals.

Also, please please don't let us ever get to rejecting books just because they don't have synopsis or have bad ones. I have no patience for scanning books and am immensely grateful to those who do. Even more so if the person is scanning specifically for bookshare and has no desire to read the book them self. Some of us actually go to bookshare looking for specific books and even if a book was overlooked by people who are browsing the shelves, so to speak, it should be there for those of us who specifically look for that book. That being said, I do wish we had the ability to search for key words in the descriptions when they do exist.
