Hi, Cindy! I'll let a staff member comment on your other questions, but I'll answer the last one, for what it's worth. <Smile>

Since we don't have the Humor category yet, the Entertainment category should probably take care of it. And yes, I'd say that's a catch-all for all things entertainment. <Smile> Hope this helps!

Jana

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] questions re uploading after validating

I seem to remember, perhaps incorrectly, that we were
told in earlier discussions that comments put into the
Comments space don't get seen by members who download
the books to read (that only validators see the
Comments) and therefore, if we want readers to see
them, we should put them in the long synopsis space.
However, when we upload a book after validating it we
are told to put explanations for Adult ratings in the
Comments section. Also, if readers don't see the
comments, why is that section there at all? Is it
there only for admdinistrators to see in the case of
books that are rejected? Could an administrator please
clarify?

Also, I know there have been discussions about adding
categories, particularly historical fiction, but I see
we are also missing a Humor category, into which many
books would fit, including the one I've just uploaded.
I see there is an Entertainment category, but I'm not
sure what kind of books that's for: is it for books
about the Entertainment industry, or books like puzzle
books and joke books that entertain people? Or books
about giving parties and entertainments? Or all of the
above?

I've just approved Delusions of Grandma, by Carrie
Fisher. It was in excellent shape -- very few errors.
It must have been rated Fair by mistake, or back when
the ratings were, I understand, in the wrong places.
Anyway, kudos to the person who orignally scanned,
prevalidated and submitted it.

Cindy
