Liz, Tracy's right. I've gone to renew a
downloaded-for-validation book ont he 7th day and it
was already leased (this happened a couple of times).
Now, to be safe, I count 6 days from the day I
downloaded and including that day, and then I renew.
If you forget and find that you can't renew but have
to re-download, you can trash the file you've just
redownloaded and continue working on the one you're
working on and continue renewing until you're ready to
upload. There's no time limit, and, if you do a
careful job like many here, since I presume you do
have a life to live (grin) it can take several weeks,
depending on the size of the book and how "clean" it
is to start with.
