Hi Kenny,
To strip running headers before a page number, put your cursor just before
the number, hold down shift and hit the home key. To strip them after the
number, put your cursor just after the number, hold down shift and hit the end
key. To protect chapter headings, add a blank line before the chapter and add
a blank line after the chapter. You can do a âreplace allâ with the running
headers, but you need to be really careful not to remove stuff that needs to be
left in the book. HTH!

Hi When I am done scanning a book, how do I strip the headings in the book? How
do I protect the chapter headings?
