I'm not sure if anything I validate gets messed up or not, but I mainly concentrate on reading the book through and fixing errors. I don't really understand this whole headers thing but so far I haven't seen any complaints on anything I've validated. I can't remember everything off hand, but one of my more recent validations was a book on letter writing for the 21st century, For the Love of Letters: A 21st Century Guide to the Art of Letter Writing.

Bookshare actually has programmers on staff. Somebody human is behind the stripper and that somebody is a paid employee of bookshare. That is what is meant by engineering. Folks, this stuff really needs staff intervention and we have been asking for staff feedback on the stripper in a specific understandable form for all the time I have been volunteering for bookshare. I refust to continue to validate knowing my work will be ruined.
