What's been happening is that people who download books for their use or
collection and find taht it's unsatisfactory for any reason either post here
in the discussion or tell the administrators. IN the former case, usually
someone offers to rescan the book and it goes through the process and a
good book replaces the bad one. In the latter, case, the administrators pull
the book and it they see it's bad either they fix it, or have someone fix it,
or just pull it and post that it needs to be replaced.
Speaking of which -- there were complaints about the various books in the
Chronicles of Narnia series, and a number of different people said that
they would provide replacements -- at least scan them. I do know that The
Magician's Nephew, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and The
Voyage of the Dawn Treader have been replaced. I see the other in the
collection with Excellent ratings -- are those replacement copies that people
have provided or are they the old copies incorrectly rated? DId any of your
replace those other books? (I want to know so that I don't add them to my
list of things to do).
