A while ago, when all the books in Spanish were being
added, and when it was taking a half day or more for
the books added to the collection to be listed on the
site in the New Books section under Browse books, I
took he list from Jake's site, which was up-do-date
instantly, and copied it onto a Word file which I then
e-mailed to people who wanted it. I have the routine
down to seconds. There are now 56 people who prefer
getting the list by e-mail instead of having to go
either to Jake's site or to the bookshare site to see
what's been added in English. Other prefer to look for
themselves.
I BCC eveeryone, so addresses aren't public, and I
asterisk the titles, at someone's request, so the list
is easily navigable.
If you'd like to receive it, I'll add you to my list.
I sent it every day, usually late afternoon or in the
evening, whenI'm pretty sure no more books are being
approved, so people get it either at night if they're
awake or first thing in their morning if they're
interested.
