Though I am not active at the phone conferences most often, I, too, truly appreciate the value and the caliber of this list. I doubt it, but at the risk of possible displeasure from some, I am convinced that the list is as it is, because the chief is a good and true Christian. Bless you, David and thanks.

Hi,
Perspective is an amazing thing. Having been a part of this list for the
past few months I’ve been struck by how informative it is both in terms
of David’s posts alerting us to various happenings in the tech and
accessibility arenas but also by the civility, kindness and compassion
shown forth by the other posters. It reminds me of the culture that
could often be seen on email listservs for the blind when I first came
online in the late 1990s. A culture which seemed largely to have eroded
and given way to much drama in recent years.
this stark contrast was brought home to me tonight as I sat and read a
post on another list offering up an opinion on windows 10. this post and
it's original author nor its original source were not cited and those
sentient beings who dared to ask for clarification rather than merely
accepting it as gospel truth as some seem want to do were chastised for
doing so. I tell this story to further illustrate the stark contrast
between this list and that which I read tonight and it is what motivated
me to stop what I was doing and engage in one of my favorite activities
I.E. being grateful and expressing that gratitude. So with that I say
to David and all participants thank you for this list and all of the
information and care that comes with it. I commend all for a job
well-done; and for insuring as the poet says that the milk of human
kindness has not run dry.
It is much appreciated.
And with that I return you to your regularly scheduled computing tasks
of the day (smile).
Robin
