I'm not Christina and apologize for responding ahead of her Lil;
But at this point I think there is a misunderstanding worthy of relief.
May I please, respectfully ask you the following:
What about a smart cane is useless?
Did you understand that it would only be about $560?
How is that in anyway off topic, when it is only a about 6 months of some folks
internet, and maybe a quarter of a Braille display?
I noticed the judgment in the below post and ask respectfully, How "wasteful"
or "useless"
Is this device to the aid of blind people. And it is computer assisted so it
does fit the name of the list.
Best for the weekend to you.
Here's to us closing the gap, not the mind.

Hi, Christina;
My concern is that if things aren't beneficial to you or any of us, then you're
wasting your valuable time sharing it. If it had merit or potential for
everyone's good then that's a different matter. I was only thinking of your
time. Don't let me stop you from posting stuff you feel is interesting. It
really doesn't matter to me because I can certainly delete anything I don't
think is helpful to me which is what is what any member can do also. I didn't
mean anything I said then or now to be interpretted in an antagonistic attitude.
I just thought you might want to spend your time sending things that aren't a
bummer, that's all. That's all I'll say on the matter. If you still feel your
helping the others by posting stuff that's useless, be my guest. No hard
feelings on my part anywayy. Take care.

Lillian,
Sorry you feel that way. I just wanted to share it with the list as another
member from another list shared it with me. We don't really know the details and
I just found it interesting and I didn't see any harm in sharing. Have a nice
day.

Hi, Christina;
Just curious but why would you send us a link to something that none of us can
afford even if it ever becomes available? It just seems like a waste of your
valuable time to me if the info's interesting but useless. Take care.
Lillian
