Good afternoon David and everyone,
She's a very nice lady and verry passionate about what she does. I had the
privilage of meeting her during the 2009 NFB Convention in Detroit. I was
recording some break-out meetings that year. She helped me find some of the
meeting rooms and hall my equipment to these locations. It's fun going up and
down escalators with your guide dog and 100 pounds of recording equipment on
your back. I lost weight that week. How awesome! It was great meeting Dr.
Robinson and having her help me out. Enjoy the interview.
We have also downloaded some of her tutorials. She has done
teaching on technology no one else seems to want to touch. Her Google Tutorials
were among the first ones I came across geared to the use of Google's Apps by
the blind. I wonder if she's taking on Amazon's Apps and Amazon Web Services
offerings yet. So far everything Amazon that I've played with is proving to be
very Jaws and Voiceover friendly. Since I'm wanting to get back into Website
hosting if everything checks out AWS will be my hosting option of choice given
everything it offers. All the best.

Subject: [blind-philly-comp] Never Say No: an Interview with Dr. Denise
Robinson via the BlindAccessJournal
I forgot to post a link to this interview with Dr. Robinson which I listened to
yesterday. I normally hate it when people say this about blind people but I
think this woman is just inspiring.
