Christina,
The examples of shows that you referenced are available through the apps
for those particular networks. In other words, recent episodes of a series
airing on ABC would likely be available by using the ABC app. All of the TV
networks offer free apps with options to watch recently aired shows. The
amount of accessibility within each app may not be perfect but it's more or
less doable. You mention that you have Xfinity. If you have any of the TV
services from Comcast the easiest way to watch shows on your iPhone is by
using the Xfinity Stream app. It will allow you to access any show which is
available on demand as well as live TV. In order to use it you would need
to sign in using your Comcast user name and your password. If you're not
sure what they are contact me and I'll be glad to help you out.

Thank you all for all your help with watching TV on my I phone. I was
looking for free apps to watch TV shows like the good doctor, new
Amsterdam, the resident and the voice. My daughter and I both have net
flick accounts hers is paid by her cell phone provider teen mobile and
mine is paid for by xfinity. I have been watching my favorite TV shows on
hulu that my son has and he created me a profile. I have been watching my
favorite shows on my TV using my fire stick.

Hi. I used to subscribe to Hulu and Netflix but haven't had those two
services in quite some time. Overall, Prime is super accessible. Merv, I
can understand why you might prefer an iPad Pro for watching TV over
using your iPhone. For a low vision user the iPad would give you more
screen real estate and the sound would likely be phenomenal.
I predict that Disney Plus will be wildly popular when it's released. I
would hope that they'll try to acquire or add video description tracks
for as much content as they can, particularly for the original Star Wars
series. I enjoy Star Wars but am not enough of a fan that I'm tempted to
subscribe. However, I just took a look at the schedule for DC Universe
and I am very tempted to try it. DC Universe is an on demand channel that
offers DC shows, including cartoons like Superfriends that I haven't seen
since I was a kid. They also have all four seasons of Lois and Clark. I
could buy much of this from iTunes but I still may try the channel, at
least for a short time.

I use Prime and Hulu but haven’t signed in on the iPhone for a while.
Since getting the 12.9 iPad Pro I tend to go that direction more often
than not. I used to use Netflix until they raised prices twice in one
year. I dropped them now.
I love Prime. Hulu is great for television shows. As well. But Prime
has pretty good quality and is getting better with described content.
ACB has a link that lets you keep up to date with described content on
Hulu, Prime, and Netflix. I don’t have it handy this second though but
it isn’t hard to find on their website. I’m hoping this fall Disney will
offer described content as well because I plan on subscribing when they
begin streaming. I can’t pass up all those classic Disney shows and
movies a as well as Star Wars content. Laughs!

couldn’t figure out how to change it back. I would like to start

Hi, Christina,
First, I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond to your question.
Using the iPhone to watch TV is a subject near and dear to my heart as
this is one of my favorite activities. I'm not familiar with Ruby but is
it possible you're referring to Tubi TV?
I have used several TV apps, including Apple's TV app, Tubi, Pluto TV,
Youtube TV, Amazon Prime Video and, not surprisingly, Xfinity Stream
from Comcast. I've used a few others including one which I believe is
now called Unlimited TV but it's been years since I've used it. I'll be
glad to answer any questions you have about any of these apps. Pluto TV
has some accessibility but it honestly needs a lot of work. With a lot
of experimentation you may be able to get to channels that you want to
watch and it seemed pretty easy to access their on demand content. Tubi
TV has some odd accessibility quirks but, if you know what you're doing,
you can pretty much use it to access their on demand catalog. Let me
know if you have any questions.

Sent from my iPhoneI was wondering if anyone watches or uses any of the
TV Apps on their IPhones? Does anyone know if any of them are
accessible? I’m mainly talking about Pluto TV or ruby. You are invited
