Seems like the last grossly successful malwarebytes was two versions ago.

I do not know, was referring to the email.

Thanks

Hi,

What is the latest version of Super Anti-Spyware and who makes it? I can take a
look at it with the latest Jaws and Windows sixty four bit and see if any
progress has been made. I certainly have never had any luck with Malware Bytes
even though I know other individuals in the blind community who use that
program and are very happy with it.

I’m in the mood for a cyber-adventure today, laughs!

Merv

Hi david and group;

David, you wrote this clear letter to FS, below, and I’m wondering if

A:

Fs has made fixes

B: if super anti spyware is

1: still considered good,

2: has a free version of any worth, (if not please advise free version product)

Thanks,

Bill

If anybody is thinking of trying the latest version of superantiSpyware
with JAWS, it can be used but none of the buttons speak their labels
when you press the tab key to move to the various options from within
the program. I have emailed Freedom Scientific's support division about
this and am copying the note below.

Hello.
Recently, Superantispyware version 6 was released. I installed it to
test accessibility with the latest build of JAWS 15, running on a
Windows 7, 32-bit machine. I’ve noticed that JAWS does not read the
labels of the buttons as you use the tab key to move through the various
controls. Instead, JAWS simply says the word “button.” It is possible
to use the JAWS cursor to identify which button has the current focus
and the left mouse button hotkey can be used to activate them. It is
also possible to use the insert-control-tab hotkey to label the buttons,
but this can prove a bit difficult. I’m wondering if FS would consider
releasing a configuration file or set of scripts to allow the buttons to
speak their proper labels. The latest versions of NVDA and Window-eyes
read the buttons properly as you use the tab key to move from one button
to the next.
