Can you give a rough outline of the eskimo in the caribbean story?
Dear Roquia,
hardly a story, rather Bert Pure:
At times when someone is having difficulties in letting go of long held
pain/burden
Bert asks the person:
"Do you know what happened to the Eskimo who went to the Caribbean on
vacation?"
"No"
"It took him two weeks to get used to it:"
For those of us who can't / won't return back to the land of our ancestors,
is the solution to keep that land in our hearts by knowing that's what we
are inside while we adapt to the country of our choice?
You are so right.
I'll remain an 'Eskimo' at heart for however long my 'vacation' on this
marvellous Island is going to last.
Thanks to this Forum for providing a listening ear.
Telling about my journey of coming to positive terms with my being
German born and educated
has given me so much.
It actually is part of the process.
Visiting the Frauenkirche in Dresden in person confirmed the sense
of closure that started
while I watched It's dedication service on TV.
Thank You All,
Max
