As I post this Bertold Ulsamer leaves Sydney, Australia enroute to New Zealand
after facilitating a training in Family Constellations.
As a participant of the four-days of training I wish to express my gratitude
to Bertold for the precious gifts of his insights and teaching.
So fresh from a period of deep connection, moving and challenging work I can
not speak of everything yet some aspects, I would like to share this first
morning after our intense work.
Bertold?s presence, pace, clarity, containment and his capacity to work with
the client following the energy, order and reality I experienced as deeply
spiritual. He tells me his work to him is Service, for me too.
As a member of the holding circle, as a representative, or as an initiator of
an issue and guided by Bertol, I felt and saw deeper levels of work. The
movements in constellations released energies, a softening and opening of
hearts to reveal another the layer and to feel the love flow, an opening of
the eyes and a breathing out.
We felt tensions and patiently so patiently a relaxation of those tensions as
the order was restored and love flowed honouring connections
With great humility in response to ?facts? given by the client Bertol set
each
constellation following the energies, placing great emphasis that
constellations reveals energies, yet we can not know the full facts underneath
and behind the energies. Often, though not always, we see the energies shifts
and the orders are restored and love flows. Bertold?s unique gift in guiding a
constellation I witnessed as a precious process of containment and empowerment
to enable connection with the aid of strengthening sentences to soften and
open hearts and peel away another layer of resistance towards resolution of
blockages and entanglements.
Cumulatively the four days gave an experiential gift of growing ? up. In
restoration of the order and love between parents and children and within the
extended family system and the orders of love between a man and a woman, we
witnessed the flowing of love, acceptance of reality and strengthening of
dignity. We discovered the hows of holding our aloneness, and facing the
struggles between men and women. Understandings were advanced around our
responsibility as facilitators of the work, the inherent dangers, and the
importance of stepping out of the representative role.
I first became aware of Bert Hellinger and Family Constellation work in 2000
in Perth, Western Australia when a small group began watching his videos and
undertaking reading. Since then, more and more I integrate Bert Hellinger?s
teachings in all aspects of my life and was especially blessed to participate
in the 2003 Zist intensive with my life-partner Denis and my dear friend Annie
Wearne.
As a participant of the four days of training in Sydney I am grateful for what
each of us will experience as the movements of our work together continues as
we surrender ourselves in the service of something greater than our
understanding.
My heart felt thanks to each participant for holding, sharing and caring.
Thank you also to Chris Walsh and Gabriella Salabert for the time and efforts
in organising the training at a most appropriate venue.
These four days enabled me to integrate my understanding of Family
Constellations and strengthen me for the next steps in my life journey and in
my practice with individuals, groups and organisations. Thank you Bertold.

to Germany and your family.
