In my opinion, the best theoretical books are:
- The Art and Practice of Family Constellations. Leading Family 
Constellations as Developed by Bert Hellinger by Bertold Ulsamer and 
Colleen Beaumont /Carl-Auer International ( 2003)

- Family Constellations. Basic Principles and Procedures by Jakob 
Robert Schneider /Carl Auer International (2007)
