US woman, 61, says being surrogate was 'gift' for her son and his husband | US

Greetings from Arizona !
Early on I tried to talk with Bert about the challenges of our new reproductive
technologies and his initial response was " Stop ! You are making me dizzy".
After awhile, he gave this topic some thought and from a systemic perspective
felt that all who biologically contributed to the conception and carrying of a
child, need to be acknowledged as parents and their lineages also belong to
this child..
Now with this case, we have a challenge of how to address birth order in this
system .This is important for us to consider because new reproductive
technologies are rapidly proliferating into unfamiliar and uncharted systemic
territories and we need to be aware.
Warm Regards,
