Hi Zaquie,
Maybe I didn't formulate it right, nor made the difference clear.
What I tried to express is close to what Francesca Boring describes in her book
"Connecting to Our Ancestral Past", in the chapter "Constellation as a
ceremony".
When the Maori people are doing healing work, the Ancestors are present in the
way we normally experience. But there is also the presence of a group of
Ancestors trained in healing, creating an energetic supportive healing field.
This supporting healing field goes further then the “knowing” field. It goes
beyond knowing. It makes it possible for the group and the facilitator to
become what Francesca describes as: 'the circle of participants is a circle of
healers' in which the facilitator is also part of the participants. It makes it
possible that the energy of the group, including the facilitator, is the
starting point and not the group that becomes part of the system of the
individual, with which we usually work.
Hoping this makes things a little bit more clear.

Hi Maria, thank you for sharing this. However I do think that lots of us
already do this. I came from Barbara Brennan's college,
Hands on Healing and so I learned that energy field is everywhere and that
the healer always receives more than the healed ones.
Actually there is a joke that goes around therapistsŠwhy are we getting paid
when we should pay them? Just a joke, of course.
Undoubtedely I see lots of us doing thisŠDan
BoothŠFrancescaŠUrsulaŠIngalaŠBert (of course!)and so manyŠ.because it is
inconceivable to do it otherwise. Aren't we dealing with a System? Perhaps
in the beginning as we didn't know much about it.
But nevertheless it is nice of you and the Maori people -whom I much
respect- remind us. Nice entry for 2014.
Happy 2014 for all of us. That we continue to learn with the objective of
being happy. Be happy.

Subject: [ConstellationTalk] 2014
During the 2013 US Systemic Constellations Conference we had the opportunity
to be introduced to the healing techniques of the Maori people of New
Zealand.
The most important thing I learned from them is that the border between
healer and being healed is thin. In our Western way of thinking it is very
important to know who is the healer and for the patient it is important to
know that he will be healed and that the healer takes care of him/her. What
we saw and experienced was totally different from our Western thinking.
Apparently, the first person received much more time then the next persons.
What happened is that healing was not just meant for this one person, but
also for all persons present in the room, including the healers themselves.
Everyone contributes with his own energy. The force of everyone creates an
energetic field and makes it possible that the weakest points of everyone
are healed. There is not one person responsible for the whole process.
Everyone contributes.
When I learned doing constellations, there was the typical client with his
issue asking for a constellation. A constellation was done, and the next
client asked for a constellation for his/her issue. And so the day went
through. Our constellations can be more powerful when we invite everyone in
the circle, including ourselves to be part of the healing process. When we
invite our clients and ourselves to be present with our forces and our
weakness in order to enlarge the healing field in which everyone
participates with his own capacities the field is more supportive and more
healing can be done in the same time. The advantage of this method is that
there is more energy and less fatigue. One constellation follows the other
without an interruption in the field. The disadvantage of this method is
that it becomes less clear who receives what at which moment.
At a certain moment I asked to help the Maori elderly. I didn¹t receive an
answer. Some moments later my colleague felt the energy of a lotus flower to
give to the elderly.
In our Western society we like to have control. Control falls away when the
enlarged field is working.
For 2014, I wish you all many moments of healing, including being a healer
and being healed.
