Hilary, you asked>
1. infants and moms coming to constellations? I was asked
recently by a
mom with a newborn about attending a constellation which meant bringing
her newborn. I found myself hesitate to respond and said I would think
further and consult colleagues. Over the years, I do not recall seeing
a mother with a newborn. Has Bert expressed thoughts on this? Others?
I would greatly appreciate hearing from the group.
----------
Going by a few experiences of a mother
attending a workshop with her infant
let me share this:
if mum and baby are in harmony it is a gift to the group
to have both attending;
naturally mum is restricted in her freedom
to represent and more so to
experience her own constellation;
a trusted backup who is in tune with the baby is
necessary for her to embark on either
--------------
2. clients who have done constellations returning free of charge to
constellation events: I have noted several facilitators encourage
clients to return to subsequent constellation events free of charge.
Having a good
number of people attend workshops is often an issue here. Again, I welcome
thoughts and discussion.
-------------------
It turned out to be good practice
to encourage ongoing attendance
of workshops by way of a financial incentive.
However not by the offer "free of charge";
free unfortunately in our western thinking
has a ring of lesser value about it.
My open invitation is: continue to attend by donation.
In an ideal world wouldn't we gladly
offer the work entirely by donation?
