Hello Everyone,
And thank you Anita for restoring clarity and sense of purpose to our forum.
More to the point, might be for us to concern ourselves with the systemic
implications of this massive social and global trauma unfolding now in Japan.
From my perspective we have a very long, and complex fractal here of victim
/perpetrator dynamics between Japan and the USA from Pearl Harbor to Hiroshima
and Nagasaki. There is an old Japanese saying ' You become what you resist "
..and now from nuclear devastation to nuclear self-destruction.... fifty four
reactors in a country approximately the size of California...built on something
the consistency of tofu ! If one pays attention to the media and the language
surrounding this horrific event one can perceive something like traumatic
flashbacks to World World II. One of the British papers carried a political
cartoon of the Japanese prime minister in a kamikaze suicide mission to fly
over the doomed reactor with a bucket of water...yelling " Banzai "
. Other UK media published photos of the devastation next to photos of the
landscape after the atomic bombings. The language flashbacks continues with
Japanese " suicide missions " and images of armor tanks approaching the
reactor.
Why do we have traumatic re-enactments on any scale, individual , social, or
global ? It seems that whatever is covered up, lied about and otherwise
unfinished will re-present in some form or other, at some time or other in the
interest of completion. In the case of Japan and other defeated countries, it
is important to understand that defeat is not the same as resolution.
Warm Regards,

As always, I appreciate the learning and insights from the various
contributors on this list.
For that reason, I wanted you all to know that praying for the reactor
(Emoto) was a bit over the top for me on CT. I have shrugged off other
such things in the past, but thought I would speak up this time.
Dr. Emoto was made famous by The Secret but by his own reckoning he is
not a scientist, takes only selectively favourable photos of his work,
and cannot and will not share his research or duplicate his
experiments in a controlled environment.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr._Emoto
He is mostly a seller of very expensive water. So calling on his
authority CT kinda undermines the good and solid work done by so many
members of this forum.
Also, if we post calls for prayer to the reactor water Emoto-style, we
could and should allow all kinds of appeals on this list by Buddhist
monks, the Pope, healing circles in Sao Paolo and more for prayers to
remedy/heal thousands of kinds of situations, including the 24,000
children who die *every* day of starvation/malnutrition (UNICEF's
stats http://www.unicef.org/media/media_45485.html) (every every
single day), the steady depletion of the ocean's fish stocks, the
Arctic melting due to climate change (which might be far more
catastrophic than a Chernobyl-equivalent nuclear meltdown), peace in
the Middle East, Obama's family's health and more - my point is that
it's a slippery and subjective slope.
Earthquakes and tsunamis and meltdowns are catastrophic from a
sensational event point of view, but slow catastrophes are occurring
around us all continually and less sensationally. As SFC students and
teachers and facilitators, they are all important and I would prefer
not to see us react to only selective events, if we have to react at
all. There are so many other online venues for prayer, healing and
native prophecies, so I would prefer to see our scope narrowed to
systemic constellation issues, where those issues compromise the
majority of the post.
Sincerely
Anita Roy
