I wouldn't call constellations that deal with the individual as Family
Constellations. However, I do a lot of constellations that allow an individual
to see their own holistic picture. I use a variety of set ups.
Sometimes I set up the seven chakras in a circle around the self. Then the
representatives show us not only where there are areas that need work and
support but also give us words to put to the energies we see. Often the
representatives give major insights to the individuals. We can also then move
from a weaker chakra to see where we can do a Family Constellation that will
support this energy.
Another way I have done this is to allow the group to give suggestions for
aspects of self. They may suggest things like emotional, mental, creative,
physical, etc. Then when we set up these around an individual, he or she can
see where support is needed. In the case of illness, often a person has been
so focused on the physical healing that the creative or mental aspects of one
are weak. This is a great insight for anyone who has become too focused on a
single aspect of their own life.
Sometimes, I set up three or four representatives for a person. Particularly
if there is childhood trauma, there will be a well functioning adult
representative but a young child who is in deep sadness, isolation or fear. I
never set the ages first. I always allow the field to bring out what is
needed. I think this is a very different approach to trauma than others may be
doing. I totally trust that the field will show us exactly what we need for the
individual at this particular point in their own journey.
I also see trauma as a gift. It is not bad nor good but gift. We must shy away
from thinking that leads us to eliminate trauma and isolate it from the whole.
It is a gift that has many facets. Our ideas of victim and perpetrator are only
for a level of being that is very much in the first and second chakra ranges
and is very much of the earth. We work in a field that is of all colours. I
have often said that the colour of God's light is love. Within the dimension
of love, the perpetrator and victim become bound in a gift that serves each of
them with love.
I am not arbitrary in any constellation work. I move as the field asks to move
to the utmost of my ability. Sometimes, I have not been the perfect channel of
that but also for that I give thanks. Gratitude is key in all of our work. We
neither take success nor failure as points of our own but yield to the richness
of the field that moves all things. It is far too easy to move into pride. This
is a fine line for all of us.
May you find gratitude in all things today. Love and light, Anni
