Thank you Dan. Really appreciate you sharing on this topic as I have personally
struggled with the current political trends in the world.
It makes sense to me that we need to learn to embrace our rage and ignorance -
and still I find I am not sure how to do that...
It makes sense to me that we cannot just focus on peace, because if we exclude
war, it doesn't have a place and so we will keep repeating it... but how do we
give it a place without creating another war?
My systemic brain has glimpses of this possibility and my human fear brain
can't quite see it.
Warm regards,
Noomi

Subject: [ConstellationTalk] Ignorance and Rage in Personal
Here’s a recent post by Dan Cohen and Emily Blefeld on a Constellations
perspective of the recent US election.
"It is easy to be grateful when things are going your way. It is a true sign of
nobility to be grateful in hard times. A spirit of thanksgiving is the
consciousness that we always need to be in regardless of what happens. - Chief
Phil Lane Jr."
In the aftermath of the 2016 United States Presidential election, we heard from
many people that they were feeling overtaken by waves of nausea, despair, and
rage - all feelings that reflected the inherited oppression activated in their
body. It seems our nation elected the candidate who reflects the collective
consciousness seeking to be acknowledged, released, and transformed - the
consciousness of Ignorance & Rage.
As winter approaches with the face of ignorance and rage inexplicably embossed
onto the currency of the United States, we are noticing how ignorance and rage
are being amplified more intensely in our own lives. Within our Seeing with
Heart Immersion programs and with private clients, these two archetypes are
showing up in surprising ways.
We need to understand the roots of our rage and ignorance if we want a world
inhabited by love. During the opening moments of a recent constellation, an
African-American woman expressed her fear of stepping fully into the Field by
saying:
"I am afraid to show what's really present. It will scare off the nice white
people. But, before we get to the part where we all get to hold hands, I've got
to show you, I'm in shackles."
We notice the new face of Ignorance is the privileged White male. Prior to the
election, he may have been respected, tolerated, compassionately redirected or
openly scolded. In the past month, his ignorance - which is one of the many
luxuries accruing from privilege - is now becoming a focal point for activism
addressing the economic, environmental, racial and military catastrophes that
are imperiling the future of humanity.
Rage is seemingly everywhere. Burning in the heart of many, rage was promoted
as an explicit campaign slogan which swept President Ignorant into office and
has ignited his supporters and opponents alike. Our social media feeds are
filled with it. From intimate and private shares about emotional and mental
fatigue to harsh public statements about which culprit is at fault for this
frightening state of affairs.
Fortunately, in these fearful times, the First People of this continent are
standing up and standing strong. They offer this:
"Each of us is put here in this time and this place to personally decide the
future of humankind... Know that you yourself are essential to this World." --
Chief Arvol Looking Horse
Standing in Constellations, we open our awareness to the non-ordinary fields of
consciousness that inhabit and surround us and ask the question: "What unseen
forces are active beyond the disturbance of everyday reality? How are we
resisting ignorance? How does rage live within us?"
The Seeing with Your Heart context looks beyond the natural tendency to
organize our external reality along the vectors good-bad / right-wrong.
Instead, we tune into our response to ignorance and feelings of rage asking:
Who in our system is ignorant or raging? Who is resisted, rejected or excluded?
Our lives come into balance when everything that is ours is included. Whatever
part of ourselves we reject becomes stronger.
In our own states of despair post-election, we (Emily and Dan) stepped into
constellation space to look at how Ignorance and Rage lives inside of our own
lives and relationship. Feeling into the ancestral second dimension of
consciousness, we found that rage and ignorance live in virtually everyone in
our system. In our dedication to being peaceful in relationship and in
contributing to a paradigm shift where peace is more prevalent in the world, we
unconsciously reject the rage within our own hearts, thereby rejecting those in
our family systems from whom we have inherited it. This either brings repressed
feelings of rage forward or attracts it from others.
We acknowledged spaces in our family systems where head-in-the-sand ignorance
kept everything nice and conflict free.
In our commitment to living life empowered, free, and in alignment with our
heart's truth, this masking of clear-eyed perception created an internalized
rejection of our own ignorance and that of everyone else's.
The healing movement was for each of us to embrace the qualities that lived in
us and the others. It brought relief and balance to our relationship and our
acceptance of what is active within the collective consciousness connected to
the election.
Seeing with your heart connects your intelligence, emotions, behaviors and
relationships to the mothers and fathers from whom we grew since the beginning
of time. We literally inherit a part of the mind of those who made us: our
parents, grandparents and others within the family system.
Our work incorporates pathways of biological memory that carry the emotions,
desires, and wounds of people in our ancestral lineage as a tool to reveal
shared suffering, release inherited blocks, burdens, or restraints, and open to
living freely.
Mother Earth must remain sacred not just to Native Americans, but also to those
who have the power to regulate the industries that endanger her. Now is the
time that the Earth needs you in your fullest expression of self and
possibility.
Join Emily and Dan on the Free Consciousness Call to tune-in to how ignorance
and rage is alive in you and how releasing your resistance will bring your
mind, heart and body into balance.
