Albert Scheflen in his book How Behavior Means
Exploring the Contexts of Speech and Meaning: Kinesics, Posture, Interaction,
Setting, and Culture,
Anchor Books 1974, comes up with the news that at the 20th and the 40th
minute of the session is the best time for giving/receving an intervention.
This
is in individual psychotherapy.
In constellation indvidaul work I find near to an hour and fifteen minutes is
necesssry. There is time for a presenting picture, transition pictures, and
resolution picture. I have had shorter ones and longer too but average about
what i say above.
