Thanks Daniel. I would very much like to come to La Paz (it just ocurred to me
that perhaps not all our english speaking "constellationtalk" friends are aware
that La Paz stands for "the peace" - hopefully an omen of things to come), but
it will have to be at some other time.
To add to this mosaic of change in the southern hemisphere, on January 15th we
elected our first woman president: Michelle Bachelet, and for us, a country
where "machismo" is still very much present, and with a very strong and
conservative church influence, this is also a most relevant change. We all hope
that a leadership style from the feminine will bring good change to our people.
Ms. Bachelet is the daughter of an air force general who was imprisoned by the
Pinochet dictatorship and died from a heart attack after being tortured by his
captors. As I understand, our new president was also held and tortured by
agents of the dictatorship.
I was very pleased to hear to-day that our outgoing president - Ricardo Lagos-
had accepted an invitation from Evo Morales to attend his investiture on Sunday
(Chile and Bolivia have not had normal embassadorial relations for about 20
years).

Amigos! this is Daniel from Bolivia, I just received a mail from a Chilean
woman who is sister of someone in Australia who belongs to this list. She is
coming to the great celebration this 21 and 22. She is married to a Bolivian
man and has a daughter. This is one of the wonders of the internet. I hope we
will meet in La Paz.
I see this celebration not with political sympathies of one kind or another,
nor as a promise of a more just world and end to poverty, no. I don?t plead for
getting back to peaceful womb. However, I believe a new world is just upon us
and this celebration taking place in the heart of south america is one of the
most powerful signs, the kickstart. Why? You would have to be here to sense the
field. Now, symbolically, Evo Morales, whose name in spanish sounds like nuEvo
Moral, New Moral, is like our old friend Frodo, the ring bearer, a
representative of the earth, the body, the primitive forces, (from primal).
That which was so excluded in our western world. He represents and lives
authentically in another logic. He is a great dancer and football player, a
true lieder who was at the front, risking his life in all the fights we had
against the empire. You may have heard the news. And a sweet to constelators:
he will say in the shamanic ceremony: PLEASE. To the greater forces, to the
gods and the "achachilas" the great grandparents, and he will say PLEASE to the
people. He knows he is small before the forces that really govern the world.
All this is so close to our practice and resulting philosophy of life, that's
why I gave myself permission to write so much about it in this forum. A great
movement of the soul is taking place, fasten seat belt.
Hey! Tomas Kohn, why don't you come?
