Greetings from Switzeland,
The fact that his condition is congenital suggested systemic issues. You might
begin with a representative for himelf, his condition and another for "the
message of the condition" and see what develops from there.
Warm regards,
Anngwyn

Subject: [ConstellationTalk] Man Without Muscles--and Empathy
Hi Everyone,
I’ve just done an hour’s intake on someone who presents with something unusual
and to me also fascinating. I have ideas about it, but would like to query the
collective wisdom here as well. It’s just so strange to me.
This man was born without certain muscles and tendons. They simply did not
grow during development in the womb. At a very present, intelligent, and
functional 73 years old, he has never found any doctors with any explanation
for what is going on with him. This includes an MRI at one point.
He has no extensor muscles or tendons for the first three fingers of each hand.
So he can close these but not open them fully. He is missing muscles in the
front of his neck. He says doctors or not sure why he can move his head the
way he is able. He is missing some of the pectoral muscles, part of his
triceps, and a couple of his hamstrings. His condition is perfectly
bilaterally symmetric. He can do most “normal” things as an adult, but was
unable to do all sorts of things that children do—run, throw or catch a ball,
and generally play with others.
His immediate grandparents' families display hard lives as homesteaders in
Idaho (farmers), with maybe some abuse between his paternal grandfather and his
father. After 8 kids, his paternal grandmother refused sex, so soon this
grandfather left her and his kids for another woman. His own birth family was
hard working, quiet and respectful he says, without anything in the way of the
normal potential traumas we look for. His Mom was nurturing and worried most
of her life that she “somehow didn’t eat right” while he was in the womb. He
became his Dad’s “helper,” as the only boy between two girl siblings, and was
accepted for what he could do. At first glance, apart from the paternal
grandfather, there’s no immediate leads on what might create such an unusual
physical handicap.
His goal in coming is to be able to “feel engagement with people.” Or to at
least explore what’s going on with not being able to. He’s taken several of my
online constellation classes in the past. He describes himself as “someone who
only watches.”
What’s most fascinating to me is his physical condition. Has anybody here ever
eoncountered or heard of anything like this?
Thanks very much
Michael
