I am grateful for this forum and the exchanges it brings. Yes, i have
been part of a very powerful constellation in washington, dc where the
issue was a very uncomfortable feeling on the part of the descendants
of the owner of a beautiful piece of land located in the mountains
overlooking a lake. The representatives were the land, the owner and
his descendants. The representative for the earth, after a little bit,
she fell into the ground, being perfectly present and feeling she
represented many many dead people. she was trying to make the owner
aware of what had happened but he was unwilling to see. The descendants
of the owner were carrying the uncomfortable feeling of the message
from the earth. Thank you for letting me share this

Interesting theme. I represented Earth as part of a nature
constellation
presented at last year's organisational conference in the UK. I
remember feeling
very big, with no emotion, just present and witnessing and somehow
beyond all
that was happening. It is quite hard to put into words my experience.
There was
a lot of suffering in the constellation, with many representatives
falling to
the ground. Towards the end I stood behind a representative for fallen
trees and
she leant back into me.

Francesca – Good to hear from you with a new thread. I haven’t had an
opportunity to represent “nature” itself in a constellation. I will
be open
to the possibility, and perhaps something will emerge from your
raising the
possibility.
What comes to mind is the “life” or “existence” that we honor in
constellations is how we manifest nature. I closed a circle recently
by
noting that the two great forces that we perceive and attune to in
constellations are “the system” and “existence.” The system is the
conservative force that binds families together. Existence is the
expansive
force that wants to survive and reproduce.
Someone once said, “Living organisms are water’s way of getting
uphill.” We
always honor this animating force of existence in Constellations, as
it is
what we received from our parents, if nothing else.
I know it doesn’t count as nature in the sense you meant it. Maybe it
could
be included as one aspect of nature that is present in nearly all of
our
work?

Dan

First, as always, I appreciate the postings on the chat. The
exchanges regarding aspects of "bigger than" and the discussion
regarding addiction were especially honest and helpful.
Recently, I had opportunity to speak again with one of the folks
from Sixth Sense in Service (www.sixthsenseinservice.com). This is
a group of folks from Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands who
specialize in using systems constellation for environmental issues
and include Nature in a significant way in their work. They often
work outdoors.
Having previously had a Sioux woman share with me a Rock Ceremony,
which is very similar to a constellation, definitely working within
the Knowing Field...I have used Nature as a "resource" in
constellations.
Carola Castillo, who facilitates with the influences of the Yanomami
people from Venezuela encourages clients to ground themselves with
Mother Earth.
Daan Van Kampenhout has people choose stones to represent
individuals in post-constellation rituals.
I am very interested in ways in which others are using nature in
constellations.
When Hellinger supported the acknowledgment of trans-generational
stress, and re-membered parents, extended family and ancestors back
into the family system, we became stronger.
I am wondering if it is the same with modern man's separation from
nature. Many agree that our separation from nature is only an
illusion, and that illusion makes us weak. I am wondering if Nature
is an integral part of Human Systems Constellation...even if it is
just placed as a "resource".
If this is not a conversation of interest to the group I would
appreciate any feedback sent to my private email: sboring@plix.
