Thank you Francesca.
Something similar happened to a friend of mine whom I two years ago brought
to a family constellation workshop in BC. My friend had some training in FC
in California, and had a shamanic background through years of study
elsewhere. As a representative, my friend broke down and wept in a way never
experienced in usual life. My friend de-roled, but felt that the aftercare
was inadequate - that the facilitator did not notice the condition of severe
weakening. My friend remained weakened in the flwg days, and shortly
afterwards suffered a small stroke, which was disabling for more than a
year. My friend gave up FC study because of the condition, and remains
disappointed in the lack of attention to the detail of noticing how a
representative is after a session. My friend did not enjoy a feeling of
safety.
I think it behooves us to pay attention to the effect that being a
representative has on people. A few measures right afterwards to ground and
clear can go a long proactive way.

Thank you for the many perspectives on de-roling. I asked permission
of the sender and share a portion of an email I recently received.
