I’ve noticed that it's very tricky now to copy a sender's email address from a
C-Talk email.
You can't just copy-and-paste.
You need to edit the copied address to remove the C-Talk part, or type in the
individual’s address by hand, otherwise it appears that the email will go both
to the individual and the list.
I wonder if there might be a setting available to our (intrepid and patient)
list administrator that can make this easier. Something changed recently, no
doubt imposed by Yahoo.
Thanks to the many recent intentional posters for their enlightening
perspectives.
Regards,
Stephen

Hi everyone,
Well, I may have just done the same thing that others have done. If so, my
apologies.
It is a function of the email auto-address
When we type in a person's name who has posted in Constellations Talk, the
Yahoo Group can take it and make it go to the entire group.
I typed in someone's name.
.... my email in the Yahoo compose line said "someone@xxxxxxxxx"
BUT, when I hit SEND, what happened is that it put that in as
"'Someone@xxxxxxxxx' VIA ConstellationTalk@xxxxxxxxx"
I have NO idea how to prevent this - I tend to be incredibly sensitive about
what I send and to whom. I looked at it, and it looked great, but it was from
my autofill entry, which many of us have.....
I remember that others have had this same problem.
The only solutions I see are moderation, or toleration.
I am fine with either, actually prefer moderation, to be honest. I get tons
of emails...
Sorry to have participated in the trouble, and hoping to be part of a
solution,
Bruce
