Hi Zaquie,
Having lived for two years in São Paulo, and having family and friends in
Brazil I feel a strong feeling of hope.
Do you think the arrest of Lula had something to do with it? I feel in some
way it showed people that even the more powerfull don't go unpunished.
But at the same time I was in Brasil when the last big protest happened and
things didn't seem to change that much.
It is exciting and scary at the same time.

Today is a Historical Moment in Brazil. Two million people only in São
Paulo state left their houses to clamor against corruption.
All was very pacific and there was no violence. I was there. We call it
history because this never happened before, Brazilians are known as very
submissive, soft and focused on soccer, Rio and sunshine all year around.
That’s not the reality. We are suffering by a lack of good and proper
Health and Educational policies with loads and loads of corruption
altogether.
Today, 2 million people only in Sao Paulo marched pacifically in one Ave.
Paulista demonstrating No More.
It has to do with GIVE and TAKE which was not equal at all. For decades we
have been suffering with an imaginable corruption being “ shut up” by
dictatorial people. As most of “ undeveloped countries”.
This abuse of power happens in almost all “ undeveloped countries”. Why
so? We “ envy” United States and European countries where people always
demanded their rights.
And now, for the first time we are doing this. So proud.
So it is not a question of resources, nature, poverty but a question of
people. People who are elected and abuse their power. But why this happens
mostly in undeveloped countries?
Isn’t that a good question?
I felt this was very important –even if you don’t see it in the news- but
a huge step was taken towards a better life.
And this is precisely the objective of our constellations, right? A better
life.
