Thanks David for raising this thoughts; this helps to keep remember
that we, as facilitators, are not bigger than the field.
I think that sometimes the path of seeking solution or just aiming
success in working with problems - we may forget about bigger things,
which are not accessible to our consciousness.
Indeed, is hard to remember about it, dealing with visible suffering
and with claimed expectations.
And the example with making constellation for community and with
effect in declining death accidents - it very sharp and good.
We don't know what happened at this constellation, what was revealed and freed.
But even without this knowledge it's a good point to reflect.
The movie "The butterfly effect" comes into my mind.
One of my biggest lessons in life was to observe how Bert Hellinger
was dealing with extreme situations in constellations, where death was
appearing as coming soon, and he was humble and didn't try to fight
against the death. As the field didn't allow him to do it.
And how he refused to work with many people after very short insight
(a few seconds sometimes).
My grandma was saying (in translation) - Hell is build upon good intentions.

Thanks Vinay for your post.
It raises quite a few thoughts in me. Vinay, I am not sure what you are
seeking, but you make a valuable space for different aspects to be
considered. This post is not intended to make assumptions about your
Constellation practice, or your work with this client. Like Gary asks, it
would be useful to get some more information on the first Constellation you
mention.
I wonder if we work as facilitators in service of changing something
physical, the system will manifest the systemic wound in another way. So I
wonder if there is anything else happening in the Community system. I find
I now look in a different way at a Constellation, to see if there is a
deeper/older pattern or exclusion. And when we talk about the System we
work with as facilitators, I think we have a very limited knowledge of how
the systems merge, for example between clients, facilitators and their
families, even the energy left at the workshop venue.
The role and attitude we take as facilitators is very important and not
easy, as we may not be fully aware of the role we are in, or how the bigger
system is selecting our role.
The links in Constellation work are something to consider, e.g. if we take a
physical manifestation as an issue and then work with that at the 'soul'
level. With death, the physical manifestation, Constellations show that
often is it irrelevant in terms of healing the system, when everything has
its place. Since life flows from everything having its place, so life flows
from death. An exclusion of death is an exclusion of life as well.
I have come to think that the names we put on different types of
Constellations, like Community Constellations, are just like a door, a door
into the bigger system. Sometimes we would like to control how much we allow
the bigger system into our work, but this may not be possible. Once we start
a Constellation representatives can change rapidly into aspects we did not
envisage.
