Hi Jan and all,

You followed up with great questions as they had me thinking and aching for
conversation. This morning I experienced some synchronicity
I was talking with a friend about numerous topics and she recounted a
conversation she had with her priest.
"I struggled with God, when I made him a man. I struggled with God when I
made him a woman."
Her priest suggested: "Make God a verb"

It may be that transitionally we do need new or renewed models for the
power within males and females. However, it may also be that we can
increasingly go to the as yet unimaginably free place where all myths and
conceptual systems are unnecessary and tiresome fictions?
Bert Hellinger's new book, *The Church and Their Gods*, asks the questions:
Whom or what do we encircle? What attracts us so that we encircle it?
What do we encircle as if it were God for us? Can what we encircle be like
God? Do we form an image as if what we encircle were our true center? Are
our circles so small that suddenly our own self stands in this center? Or
are those circles large and then become larger and larger still, because
they circle around an infinite and empty center, with love: and in the
end, do we stand in awe? Do we also turn into a song?
(p.50)
I know these CT conversations widen that circle for me. Thank you all.
