Dear Anne Marie,
let me attempt to give some input in regards to the question you raised:
However, to date I have no expereince of constellations work. I am
therefore not really clear about what is different about constellations
cf psychodrama, sand tray and symbol work and transpersonal (ie Grof).???
upon reading these two lines something came to mind i heard Bert Hellinger
on several occasions stating . He spoke to the effect of " I do not work
just with the client but work with the client´s family and with the whole
group present".
My understanding of this statement is, he is teaching us to have the
broader picture in mind, guiding
us constellators towards giving each person represented in a constellation
an equal place with an eye towards enabling the worker (client) to realize
she/he is an integral and important part of the system yet not any more
important than any other part of it.
In that, i do sense a possible difference.
Max
