Carl Jung called his notion of synchronicity an acausal connecting principle.
It is easy for me to fall into the trap of thinking that the constellation
causes an outcome. Rather it is an opportunity for one piece of experience to
tune into another, especially where pertinent correspondences exist. In the
manner of as above, so below. As here, so there? And the metaphor of a dance is
apt.
I need to keep reminding my ego that it isn't as clever as it would like to
think!
