Dear Malika
I agree with Joallyn. She put it very beautifully.
My most recent Constellation for a person with piercings (and tattoos) was
not exotic at all. By the mans appearance, I was braced for something
extreme to emerge. What emerged was extreme, but also familiar. The same
kind of brutal family history that is present in the most plainly dressed
and non-descript client.
In past generations, people preferred wearing their wounds on the inside and
appearing perfectly normal.
Welcome to Constellation Talk!

Dear Joallyn, thank's for your feedback. Shure. The curiosity, the
prejudice, the conventional wisdom and assuming that is posible to interpret
(a priori) something of the other, impede direct contact with the deep need
that manifests itself, with what it is. They are dead languages that lead us
to strange places.
Warm greetings, Malika

Dear Malika,
Is it only one meaning of making piercings? The best way would, for
me, to place a representant for the piercings and see what happens.
What we can be certain of, those piercings (scarification, etc) bring
back a certain energetical balance (how strange it could sounds for
people who are inbalanced)
Balance with what is most important for those people (sometimes the
group wth wihich they live).
If we only refer to what is written, we sometimes go nowhere.
We can ask in the same way, what means boulimy, anorexy,
homosexuality.... There is no constant pattern
Moreover, is 'what is means?' more important than 'what is the way to
go back to a free living with love?
Our way of thinking has a great impact on the constellations.
If we put a squarred frame in our thoughts, there is sometimes no
more place for life.
The client must always 'achieve' something positive through the
constellation, curiosity is not a way. Neither.
I'm sure that people who come for one seminary of constellations are
also drawn by a bigger force than their own suffering.
How strange is it to remark that on one day, we work for 'masculine
violence on women', the next day on 'women who can not have babies',
on an other on 'money, abondancy, etc',
I sometimes want to put topics on my seminaries, but the topics
emerge by themselves and are more powerful than what I could think of...
Thank to all for your contributions
Love
Joallyn

Dear friends, I 'm Malika, a new Constellation Therapist from
Mexico City. I follow the issues discussed by the group with much
interest and gratitude and my heart always takes something of value
from everyone.
However, my limited English does not allow me to write and give
feedback frequently. I can read and understand most of meanings and
senses with relative ease, but sometimes I also need some help.
I would greatly appreciate if you send me your points of view about
the meaning of making piercings in the body. Your comments are
important to me.
Thank you everyone.
