I am with you Robert. I see how the fear reacts and searches for the
"safe" way, the conceptual framework that explains it all, I can feel fears
edge of hostility, indignation and defensiveness.. I can see how it makes
assumptions that aren't at all in your communication. I can see how it
searches for like minded souls to validate its position. Who is afraid?
Who is the self that fears the entity? Does it really exist?
Entity is defined as a thing with distinct and independent existence. It
seems to me this language carries a distinct ontology or metaphysical view,
namely that there is such a thing as independent existence. There are
other ontologies and metaphysical perspectives that come from a different
point of view..
I had an experience once. My wife and I went to see a powerful shaman (at
least he felt that way to me) and he worked with us for a little bit and
then he worked individually with my wife for quite some time. Finally we
came together as 3 again and he was befuddled. He told us how his
specialty was releasing "entities" and that he always succeeded. Yet in
this case he could sense and "entity" in my wife and had no success
releasing it. So then my wife and I went home and we were lying in bed
together and I felt that "entity" move into me, I believe it came out of
her and into me! The connection I make is with our aborted child which I
shamefully kept secret for a long time. Constellations and Hellingers work
taught me to look that way.
Sooo, thats my story and for me, it is a healing entity story.
Shamanism is an ancient tradition, is it really the best tool/tradiution
for our modern and postmodern problems? Isn't it time for an upgrade that
includes its mystical multidimensional root and adds modern scientific
knowledge?
With love for all the selves and the knowledge that they are all empty and
that that emptiness connects all of them.

Just to clarify : there are certainly malevolent beings and beings who
work for the "dark side". They, like everything else in the universe, have
the Light of the Creator at their core. A lot of the work is to help them
recognize that themselves, while still being aware that they are volatile
beings that should be treated with caution on the part of the practitioner
(but not fear or confrontation). I didn't mean to say that everything is
unicorns and rainbows :)
Robert, I respect that this may not be a reality you've been confronted
with (yet). Hopefully you'll remain open to it, for in this current time
you might very well get clients who need this kind of help.

I am fine with my fears, though I am not sure I would call them
borderline.
And from this thread I realize that I will refer this client out and I am
developing a healthy respect for these energies and am open to seeing them
as lost rather than dark. Though there may be some truth in them being dark
or malevolent.

Dark Entities.
The corrosive effect of fear on human consciousness seems to be manifest
is this thread about entities. I do feel and consider it is of utmost
importance to respect, allow and not deny feelings and experiences however
irrational or borderline they may be. It is no surprise to witness
facilitators becoming personally overwhelmed by delusional, trauma and fear
driven imagery. Luckily the main game is to give some space, voice and
acceptance to all this elements in our psyche. What a wonderful field to
play in.

As my experience grew, I noticed they are energies in need of been seen,

because you have the capacity to hold that specific Field. I agree with
Anngwyn in the sense that if the client is asking specifically for
depossession, it is better to refer him to someone who does that outside of
constellation (I have names if you need them). But I find that very often
for me (and probably because I am trained in this), possession issues show
up in constellations without the client being aware of what is going on. In
this case, I do the depossession via the constellation, without necessarily
using the word with the client, as it can be traumatic.
Since you seem to be attracting a lot of these cases, I would recommend
taking Betsy Bergstrom Compassionate Depossession training if you're not
already trained in this. She's also a trained FC facilitator.
