Chris, thank you for asking about the relationship between armenians and
turks. Between 1896 and 1915 almost a 1.500.000 armenian have been massacred in
the ottoman empire in the attempt of "turkify" the country. The Turkish
government to this day denies vehemently the existence of any act that could be
called genocide. Anyone to this day that mentions the existence of an Armenian
Genocide is sentences to at least six months of jail and considered an enemy of
the nation. "Insulting Turkishness" is the violation that a lot of
intellectuals in Turkey including Orhan Pamuk 2006 Literature Noble Prize, Elif
Shafar and Hrant Dink have faced. Hrant Dink was a fenomenal champion of
freedom of expression who was using the pen for his cause. He was the director
of the only armenian magazine in Istanbul, AGOS. I thought of using your (our)
dear forum to reach out all those who live in Turkey and offer my contribution
with Family Constellation in service of reconciliation. (Peace begins in the
