I would like to bring up another angle on this subject and something that we
don’t talk about in the constellation world and that is that everyone
experiences the world through the five senses; seeing, hearing, touch/feel,
smell and taste. When working with a client it can be very useful to find out
what their preferred sense(s) of interactions are. There is often a clear
distinction between visual and auditory clients. Auditory clients get easier
involved in the process through stories and talking. Visual clients on the
other hand respond faster to things they can see and interact with.
Also our own preference can interfere with the client. For instance I am very
visual and so are my metaphors and stories. I have a specific client who does
not like my metaphors because he is very auditory and kinesthetic
(feeling/touching) and has a hard time relating to visuals.
Just food for thought (that would be kinesthetic and neutral)

Sometimes dolls even “ speak “ to me thru their eyes and expression.
I sometimes combine visual constellations (meditation) with the dolls and
individuals. They come to be great.
Out of 50 constellations there is always one person that doesn’t get it. And
I get frustrated. What was it that I did not do well?
Or, that I was not able to “ wake this client up” to whatever I am seeing or
perceiving?
Generally I perceive the client had a high expectation or kept her mental
image of the situation.
But…I also perceive that exactly that day…that I attended the 1 out of 50…was
the day I was not feeling good either…of course…not a coincidence…
I’ d love to hear YOUR experiences with the individual constellations.
