Hello,

The invitation to the international association meeting following the Congress has had to be modified slightly since Hunter's article, I am sorry to say. This is due to the constraints we have with respect to the room we have available to us. Heinrich Breuer, the Congress co-organiser has written the email which follows.

Best wishes,

Richard Wallstein

Heinrich's email follows:

On the 29th of May, 2007, the day following the Congress in Cologne, we wish
legally to found ISCA (the International Systemic Constellation
Association). By way of background information, a committee has been meeting
since July developing proposals for an inclusive, networking international
association.

As a means to do this, I extend a warm, but limited, invitation to a meeting
from 09.30 to 17.00 on 29 May, 2007, at the Maritim Hotel, Cologne. This
meeting is one to legally found the organisation only; it will not be a
meeting at which to make permanent decisions about the Association and its
functioning or leadership.

Both the size of the room we have available and the need to create a working
atmosphere require a limit on the number of people able to attend the
meeting. For this reason, I would like to invite ... people representing the non-European
countries attending the Congress. It would be optimal if the people
representing a country at the meeting were working on the development of
constellation work in their country and were acknowledged as experienced
facilitators.

People who would like to accept this invitation, or suggest someone who
should be invited, should contact me as soon as possible; this is especially
important with respect to those countries having few people at the Congress.
On the other hand, if any national group becomes too large, I reserve the
right to decline people accepting a place at the meeting. Again, please
understand that any such action is not meant personally but is due to the
above mentioned limitations of both space and working-group size. I will
work on this process with Richard Wallstein who has been acting as Chair of
the working committee.

Please let people in your countries know that an international meeting to
found an international Association is occurring; this is an exciting and
important step as we wish to continue in the development of both the work
and communication amongst ourselves. Obviously the International Congresses
serve this function, but they occur only every two years, and we actually
need an ongoing method of interacting.

Warm regards
Heinrich Breuer

For those of you who don't subscribe to 'The Knowing Field', in the
latest issue Hunter Beaumont has written an open invitation to the
Constellation community to come to a meeting on May 29, immediately
following the congress in Cologne to discuss the future of the work.

In his article he mentions concerns that have been discussed about
being excluded, standards, using power wisely, continuing education,
deepening our work, and supporting the work itself.
