One of the best venue for the kind of sharing you're looking for is
Facebook. It lends itself to photos, public discussion (called walls),
journalling, video sharing, creating more of a "living room" feel than
Yahoogroups. You can also have private chats by simply going to
messaging, instead of the less private "walls".
Once you've opened up an account on Facebook, you can create a
Constellation group, and monitor it. You can assign others too to be
admins. You can make that group private from your other Facebook
friends, you can make it by invitation only, and not searchable (or
findable) by Google. That is the easiest tool at hand. It's amazingly
flexible.

hello everyone again,
i seem to be drawn to this site like a thirsty animal drawn to
water. i am not sure why. however, i have made some statements
that if we wish to have change we need to be that change...or
something like that in other words. nothing new there. but in light
of it, personally i would like to have some more contact with
facilitators and other than this place, i am not sure where to seek
it.
franz had suggested some simple ways to develop relationships here
that involve more than just academic speak and i also would like
that. so to this end, especially after having re-read the guidelines
and seeing that it is a place that is for support and encouragement
for facilitators, i have bared a little of me on the 'profile'
section of this site.
having taken a few minutes, i have looked at a lot of 'profiles' and
haven't come across a single picture or notation that says anything
of a personal nature of who anyone is. i don't know that it is a
huge safety issue to post a snapshot and make a couple of notes about
who we are. if it is....perhaps you can enlighten me on the risks.
to me, it seems just like a friendly kind of thing to do....the kind
of thing we might share over a coffee break in shared space.
i'm sure not suggesting that we ought to do this........ no
should's. just an idea. i would really be blessed to see some of
