This is very interesting as the home that we bought was just beyond being
able to be redone or added onto without such difficulties. It was totally
unexplicable. Thus I had people in and constellated the house and found
that it was on the Underground Railroad - where in the USA the African
Americans followed to safe houses al the way North to Canadian border do their
freedom. The city where we live has many many safe houses and was
instrumental in the freedom of the African Americans, who were certainly not
called
this then. Additionally out family has the last safe house before the
border. The house we bought had "hot spots" everywhere. The representative
of
the hotspots shouted, I was burned to death on this land along with many
others". The representative then dragged us outside to a spot and said you
need to put a piece of art right here to honor those of us who died here.
We did the next day and all hot spots disappeared and the addition and the
repair of the original house started going well., AS well, it turned out
the name of the city is the man who killed these people.

Hello Fran !
I have been thinking about your post concerning homeowner difficulties.
While I have also seen individual cases like this, it is now apparent that
this is a much larger phenomenon that extends into areas of massive social
trauma. Here in the USA we have a widespread epidemic of home and land
seizures with nation-wide foreclosures carried out under quasi-legal
pretenses.
I remember a conversation with Bert Hellinger back in 1997 where he warned
of dire consequences for the land seizure policies held by this country
almost from our earliest Colonial times. I have seen many other instances
of
homeowner difficulties in other countries as well where colonial policy
included land seizure, and population displacements.
