Dear Yasha,
Your question is such a pertinent one when you are in the position of
describing the work.
I don't know if anything thing else needs to be added after Dan's wise and
eloquent reply but I would just offer this.
I would very much agree with Dan that it serves one to find their own way in
describing it.
Asking others how they describe the family soul or the work is also very
helpful.
Recently I have switched my focus when beginning to share with someone about
the family soul and the work.
I have found that after years of focusing on how we are entangled and its
effects, as an opening, I start by sharing that the work
reconnects the client to the strength, and love available in a family system or
family soul,( sometimes I may not even mention family soul to an inquirer),
and we experience the hidden manner that love operates within the family. Then
I go on from there.
This seems to avoid the deer in the headlights response from the inquirer that
we so often receive.
Every person is different, and you will intuit what a person is open to hearing
and receiving.
Jane Peterson is giving a talk on how to describe Systemic Work on Sat, it
feels like that might be really great for you to attend.
No matter what you are in for an amazing experience at the Conference. I know
everyone involved has worked hard to create a memorable event.
I hope to meet you there.
Blessings,
Krista Jarrard
