Hi,
I have been wondering lately, and prompted through discussion with
others, about the relationship between us, as facilitators, and the
Constellation.
I notice that as I change in certain ways then the Constellation seems
to change in parallel. For example, as I grow in my life, or become
aware of certain aspects in life or in the 'bigger system' , then the
Constellations seem to change, or the aspects I am more aware of seem
now to show up more in the Constellation.
Interestingly, this is all connected, as it must be as we are in a
system. So much of these changes came from working with
Constellations. It raises some questions in me. How the client or
client family chooses the facilitator that is right for them. Whether
the client is ready for change or not. Also, in terms of practice
development, which I think is an ethical path, how might we integrate
our personal/professional journey of development with the needs of our
Constellation work.
There are clearly elements of projection in this.
Also, I notice how our relationship with boundaries and limitations,
e.g. statements like 'A new type of Constellation' or 'Constellations
have reached their limit' can be linked to our own state, and there is
nothing wrong with that, it is always good to work in a way where we
feel grounded. I think my journey with Organisational Constellations
was like that, where now there seems little boundary. Constellations
are just Constellations, they just start in certain places, with
certain issues. If we can give clients a connection with the 'bigger
picture', then boundaries seem to safely fall or change into a bigger
system.
